Create an Exciting Backyard Adventure Playground

The Backyard Discovery Malibu Cedar Swing Set brings the excitement of an outdoor playground directly to your backyard. Designed to inspire imaginative adventures, physical activity, and interactive entertainment, this spacious wooden playset combines two elevated clubhouses, swinging activities, climbing access, and a thrilling wave slide. Its multi-level layout provides plenty of opportunities for children to explore, play together, and enjoy outdoor recreation.

Durable 100% Cedar Wood Construction

Crafted from 100% cedar wood, the Malibu Swing Set offers sturdy construction with natural resistance to rot and decay. Its attractive light brown pre-stained finish complements residential backyard settings, while the durable wooden framework supports multiple activity areas. Cedar’s natural properties and the pre-stained components make this playset a practical choice for regular outdoor enjoyment when properly assembled and maintained.

Two Spacious Elevated Clubhouses

One of the Malibu’s standout features is its two large multi-level clubhouses, each designed with a wooden roof, decorative dormer windows, and an inviting balcony. These elevated play spaces create exciting settings for imaginative games, storytelling, and outdoor adventures. Children can use the clubhouses as pretend forts, secret hideaways, or gathering spaces while exploring the different levels of the playset.

Connecting Wooden Staircase and Sun Decks

The Malibu features a wooden staircase connecting the two elevated clubhouses, allowing children to move between play areas. Each clubhouse includes an open sun deck that provides additional space for imaginative activities. This connected design creates a unique multi-level playground experience, encouraging exploration and interactive group play.

Exciting 10-Foot Wave Slide

Equipped with a 10-foot wave slide, the Backyard Discovery Malibu provides an entertaining descent from the elevated play structure. Its gently curved sliding surface adds excitement to everyday outdoor activities, making it a favorite feature for active playground adventures. The slide complements the climbing and clubhouse areas, encouraging children to enjoy repeated outdoor play.

Two Classic Belt Swings and Trapeze Bar

The sturdy swing beam includes two traditional belt swings and one trapeze bar, providing three dedicated swinging positions. Children can enjoy classic back-and-forth swinging or try different hanging and swinging activities using the trapeze. These features encourage movement and coordination while allowing multiple children to enjoy outdoor recreation together.

Two Convenient Flat-Step Ladders

Designed with multiple access points, the Malibu includes two wide flat-step ladders that lead to the elevated play structures. These ladders provide additional routes to the upper clubhouses, allowing children to explore different sections of the playground. Their practical wooden design complements the connecting staircase and overall playset structure.

Interactive Play Kitchen with Sink and Stovetop

The Malibu features a charming pretend play kitchen complete with a toy sink and stovetop, creating an inviting space for imaginative role-playing. Children can pretend to prepare meals, operate a restaurant, or organize outdoor family gatherings. This interactive feature adds another dimension to the playground beyond climbing, swinging, and sliding.

Two Shaded Sandbox Areas

Beneath the elevated clubhouses, the Backyard Discovery Malibu includes two shaded sandbox areas designed for creative and sensory play. Children can enjoy building sandcastles, creating imaginary landscapes, and exploring different outdoor activities. These ground-level spaces provide quieter play options alongside the more active playground features. Suitable play sand must be purchased separately.

Built-In Growth Board for Childhood Memories

The Malibu includes a built-in wooden growth board that allows families to record children’s height milestones over time. This thoughtful feature provides a personalized addition to the playset, making it possible to track growth as children enjoy their outdoor adventures throughout the years.

Spacious Design for Group Play

Designed with multiple activity stations, the Backyard Discovery Malibu can accommodate up to 14 children according to the current manufacturer listing, subject to individual activity weight limits and supervision requirements. Its combination of clubhouses, swings, slide, kitchen, and sandbox areas allows children to enjoy different recreational activities within the same playground structure.

Convenient Assembly with BILT App Instructions

The Malibu Swing Set includes pre-cut, pre-drilled, and pre-stained wooden components to support a more organized installation process. Interactive BILT app instructions provide guided 3D assembly assistance. Adult assembly is required, and the playset must be installed on level ground with appropriate anchoring, protective playground surfacing, and sufficient safety clearance around the entire structure.
