Pioneer DJ DDJ-REV7 Professional DJ Controller – Motorized Jog Wheels, Serato DJ Pro, and Advanced Scratch Performance

Professional DJ Performance and Turntable-Style Control

The Pioneer DJ DDJ-REV7 Professional DJ Controller combines advanced mixing technology, authentic vinyl-style performance, and intuitive controls in one powerful DJ workstation. Designed for professional turntablists, scratch DJs, and open-format performers, this 2-channel controller features a distinctive battle-style layout inspired by traditional turntables and DJ mixers. Its motorized jog wheels, professional crossfader, and extensive performance features provide precise control for live mixing, scratching, and creative music performances.

Advanced 2-Channel Mixing System

Featuring a professional 2-channel mixer, the Pioneer DDJ-REV7 provides accurate control over audio levels, equalization, and track transitions. Each channel includes dedicated volume faders, three-band EQ controls, trim adjustment, and headphone cue monitoring. Its battle-style configuration places the performance pads and effects controls within the central mixer section, creating an accessible layout for demanding scratch routines and open-format mixing.

Authentic 7-Inch Motorized VINYLIZED JOG Wheels

One of the DDJ-REV7’s standout features is its two 7-inch motorized VINYLIZED JOG wheels, designed to reproduce the tactile sensation of traditional vinyl turntables. The rotating platters feature textured acrylic surfaces for improved finger grip and precise scratching. Adjustable torque settings, interchangeable slip sheets, and selectable 33⅓ or 45 RPM rotation speeds allow DJs to customize the jog-wheel response according to their preferred performance style.

Integrated 3.5-Inch On-Jog LCD Displays

Each motorized jog wheel features a 3.5-inch LCD display that provides essential track information directly on the platter. DJs can monitor waveforms, playback positions, BPM, track artwork, and cue information without constantly looking at their laptop. Multiple display modes offer convenient customization, while the ability to display personalized artwork or logos adds flexibility to the controller’s visual presentation.

Precision MAGVEL FADER PRO Crossfader

Equipped with the professional MAGVEL FADER PRO, the DDJ-REV7 delivers smooth, responsive crossfader operation for accurate scratching and mixing. This durable magnetic crossfader features adjustable curve and feeling settings, allowing DJs to customize its response for different techniques. Its precise operation supports advanced scratch routines, rapid cuts, and smooth transitions during live performances.

Sixteen Responsive Performance Pads

The controller includes 16 multicolor performance pads, eight on each deck, providing direct access to creative DJ functions. These responsive controls support Hot Cues, Roll, Saved Loop, Sampler, and other compatible software features. Their convenient mixer-section placement allows DJs to trigger samples, manipulate track sections, and create dynamic live performances without interrupting their workflow.

Instant Scratch for Creative Performances

The innovative Instant Scratch feature provides four built-in scratch samples that can be triggered directly from the hardware without requiring a connected computer. This feature allows performers to experiment with scratch routines and sound effects immediately. When connected to compatible DJ software, the Scratch Bank functionality provides additional access to user-assigned scratch samples for more personalized performances.

22 Built-In Beat FX

Designed for creative mixing, the DDJ-REV7 includes 22 built-in Beat FX, giving performers extensive control over transitions and sound manipulation. These effects include creative options such as Duck Down, Fill Out, and Helix Out. Dedicated effects paddles allow DJs to activate effects momentarily or lock them on, providing flexibility for live remixing, scratching, and performance routines.

Silent Cue and Smooth Echo Technology

The DDJ-REV7 features innovative Silent Cue and Smooth Echo functions to enhance creative control. Silent Cue allows DJs to start playback from a selected cue point without the audible acceleration associated with motorized platter startup. Smooth Echo can automatically apply an echo effect when assigned controls are activated, helping create cleaner transitions and professional-sounding musical changes.

Serato DJ Pro and rekordbox Integration

Designed with Serato DJ Pro integration, the Pioneer DDJ-REV7 provides direct hardware access to mixing, performance pads, effects, and scratch functions. The controller also supports compatible rekordbox performance features. Dedicated hardware controls allow DJs to browse music libraries, manipulate playback, adjust track tempo, and perform creative transitions. Serato Pitch ‘n Time DJ functionality provides additional key-shifting and synchronization capabilities when properly licensed and configured.

Dual USB Connections for DJ Changeovers

Featuring two USB Type-B connections, the DDJ-REV7 allows compatible computers to be connected for convenient DJ transitions. This configuration is especially useful for club performances, shared DJ booths, and back-to-back DJ sessions. The dual-computer connectivity helps reduce equipment changes between performers while supporting a more organized professional setup.

Professional Audio Quality and Connectivity

The Pioneer DDJ-REV7 incorporates high-quality audio components, including an ESS Technologies digital-to-analog converter, designed to deliver detailed sound reproduction. Its professional connectivity includes balanced XLR master outputs, RCA master outputs, dedicated booth outputs, microphone inputs, and external line/phono connections. These versatile options allow DJs to integrate compatible speakers, turntables, media players, microphones, and professional sound systems.

Durable Construction and Portable Design

Built for regular professional use, the DDJ-REV7 features a robust chassis with an aluminum top plate and conveniently positioned carrying handles. Its matte and brushed-metal finishes create a distinctive appearance inspired by traditional turntable setups. The compact, integrated design brings together the essential functions of two motorized decks and a professional mixer, making it suitable for mobile performances, clubs, and personal DJ studios.
